Adult (8:30 Mass) Choir: Every Sunday 8:30-9:30am. Practice on Wednesday from 7-8:30pm in the Music Room (September through May)

Religious Education (Sunday— September through May): Pre-School thru Kindergarten—during 8:30 and 11:00am Masses; Grades 1 thru 8—meet in between Masses; Grades 9 thru 12—meet Wednesday evenings


Eucharistic Adoration: Every 1st Friday of the month after 9:00am Mass until Benediction at 6:45pm.

Faith Formation for Adults: Every Sunday at 9:30am (September through May)

Arts & Environment: Every Wednesday at 10:00am in the Conference Room

Mass in Spanish & Confession: Sunday Mass at 1:00pm, Thursday morning at 7:00am, Thursday evening Confession at 6:00pm and Mass at 7:00pm

Men’s Club: 1st Sunday of every month at 6:30pm in the Gathering Area

Nursery: Every Saturday during the 5:30pm Mass and Sunday during the 8:30 and 11:00am Masses (10:00am June-August)

Parish Council: 3rd Monday every month (with the exceptions of July and December) at 7:00pm in the Parish Conference Room

RCIA: Inquiry Meetings - Mondays 7pm in September & October.  Beginning in November sessions are held every Sunday in between the Masses from 9:30-10:45am.

Saturday Night Choir: 5:30 PM Mass. Practice is every Saturday at 5:00pm. Contact Don Ivancic at ivancicd@comcast.net or 333-0892 for more information.

Serra Club: 1st Thursday of each month Pot Luck Supper meeting at 6:00pm; 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:30am in the Parish Conference Room

Widows of St. Philip: Third Sunday of each month at 12:15pm September through May

Women’s Faith Sharing Fellowship: Every Thursday morning at 9:45am (September through May)

Women of St. Philip:  Monthly on Thursday eveings, check bulletin for dates (September through May)

Young Adult Ministry-YAM’S Second Monday of each month 6:30pm in the Parish Conference Room

Youth (11:00 Mass) Choir: Every Sunday 11:00am-Noon. (10am-11:00 June-August) Practice between Masses on Sunday morning in the Sanctuary

Youth Ministry - CONNECT & EDGE: Regular meetings every Wednesday night from  6:00-8:015pm

Fr. Bala and Fr. Tran would like to invite all parishioners who will be alone this Easter to come celebrate and enjoy dinner at St. Philip on Easter Sunday. If you will be at home and have no family close by to celebrate with, please come join us in the Gathering Area after 11am Mass on Easter Sunday. We will serve appetizers followed by a celebration dinner.

Kris McKorkle is our New Parish Council representative for Communications. St. Philip is wanting to enhance the communications between its parishioners and church leadership, staff, and priests. In order to accomplish this we need your help. We are looking for writers, graphic artists, individuals versed in web mastering, content management, power point presentations, publisher, etc.

St. Philip welcomes Judy Goodheart as the new coordinator of the Helping Hands Ministry. Judy brings a great deal of experience to Helping Hands as she was the Manager of the Manor at Steeplechase Retirement Facility for eight years where she daily served the senior population. She replaces Caroline Walsh who faithfully served in the ministry for many years.

Since the St. Philip Book Store opened 3 months ago on All Saints Day, Nov. 1, 2009, many parishioners have offered their suggestions, encouragement and gratitude. For many a Catholic book store in Franklin is a long awaited reality and the comments made by our many patrons reinforce this thought. Before it came a reality, we asked hundreds of parishioners their thoughts on a bookstore at St. Philip. The response indicated that it was needed, wanted and for many the answer to a prayer.
