The St. Philip Council of the Knights of Columbus is hosting their first annual Golf Scramble. The event is to be held at Forrest Crossing Golf Course, 750 Riverview Drive, Franklin TN, on Monday September 12, 2011, with a scheduled 8 AM shotgun start.
Entries are $75.00 per player if received by August 31; $85.00 per player afterwards. The entry fee includes golf, cart rental, range balls, a goodie bag, and an awards banquet immediately following play. The first 80 golfers to register will also receive a golf towel monogrammed with the emblem of the Knights of Columbus. To register, send player names, phone numbers, and average scores with a check made out to Knights of Columbus, 412 Bobby Drive, Franklin TN 37069.
Businesses in the greater Nashville area are offered the option to sponsor a hole. The sponsorship includes a sign on the hole and recognition at the awards ceremony. Any coupons or giveaways provided by the business will also be included in the players’ goodie bags.
Team play is encouraged. Players not on a team will be grouped with other players of similar ability. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third places; last place; Longest Drive; Closest to the Pin; and the putting contest.
