St. Philip and a company called iQonnect have entered a relationship to start a Business eDirectory on St. Philip's website, www.stphilipfranklin.com.


The purpose is simple; it gives parishioners an opportunity to advertise their business services to parishioners who want to do business and support those parishioners they know. It is a great concept.


The cost is very low and the church gets a 25% donation of all money collected for the first 50 people who sign up and 50% after the 50th person signs up. The money donated to St. Philip will go for outreach programs.


Wondering if this is a good marketing tool?
The St. Philip website is averaging approximately 2500 visitors per month. They spend about 4 minutes each time they visit with about 12,000 page views a month. From all indications, that is a great success. So people will see this, particularly those who are looking for your ad, our parishioners. Our loyalty rate is high. Our Business eDirectory lists and categorizes all business services within our church – so when one of our members needs a doctor, attorney, plumber, babysitter (you get the idea), the iQonnect Business eDirectory becomes our trusted source. Business Professionals (Professional Job Types) One section of the Business eDirectory will be a listing of “Professional” business services available for an inexpensive subscription fee. Examples of the Business Professional listings include (but not limited to):

  • Dentists / Doctors
  • Financial Services
  • Attorney
  • HVAC Repairmen and Maintenance
  • Photographers
  • Construction Services
