Family Life

The family is the first and vital cell of all societies, social and ecclesial.  The very core of the church is linked to the well-being of the family and the future of the Church passes through te family.  FAMILIARIS CONSORTIO.  The Parish and Family Life ministries work to provide avenues for all members of the parish to have the opportunity to become involved in the life of the parish.  They support families in many different situations. Through their interaction with and support of the other ministries of the parish they provide opportunities for families to develop their calling as the "domestic church" and strengthen the parish commuity as a means of suppport for all the people of God.

All Pro Dad

Ministry Lead: Mike Murphy . 615-790-7335

St. Philip All Pro Dad is a ministry to help men of our parish become better fathers. We are committed to positive father involvement through our monthly meetings where fathers and their children meet with others to discuss a wide range of topics to strengthen faith and family while having fun and spending time together. Each year, our members also take part in the All Pro Dad’s Father & Kids Experience. Held in conjunction with the NFL and Tennessee Titans, this all-day event provides a fun and unique experience while passing along practical fatherhood advice. The primary focus of this ministry is for men who are fathers. We warmly welcome Catholic men of all ages, callings and stages of life.
